After last week’s news of Will Smith departure from the Suicide Squad sequel we originally, even with the rumour of a recast, the door would still be open for a return. However, it looks like he’s lost out to Luther.<br />

I’m sure for a lot of fans is a better choice than Smith. Which is a bit unfair because the 50-year-old did a decent job and was one of the better performances he’s given for a long time but I think with Elba he’ll become Floyd Lawton and maybe wear the full mask more.<br />

There’s a lot of pressure coming into Captain Marvel as not only were we getting introduced to her but also will be the final MCU before Avengers: Endgame but they were in luck as they had Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson blazing the trail.</div>

The film follows Carol Danvers (Larson) as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Being honest I had trouble truly loving or liking this film. The script is average at best and holds some similarities to the 2018 reboot of Tomb Raider as both films were written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet. It suffers mainly in already built world of the MCU as this ties off a lot of loose ends.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’m sure this will please those fans who followed the whole franchise from the beginning but I couldn’t help but roll my eyes when some of the tie ins happen. Additionally, the comedy falls flat, it tries so hard to inject jokes they’re just unfunny but no way as bad as Ant-Man and The Wasp or Guardians 2,</div>

I felt sorry for Larson because she’s clearly doing the best with what she’s got and it feels either they should’ve gone out to get a director similar to Patty Jenkins or Karyn Kusama or Marvel should’ve gone with a different actress.<br />

I want to state Larson isn’t bad, she’s heroic, vulnerable, kick-ass, especially when she goes full Dragon Ball Z power-up mode and the Oscar winner handles some of her comedic lines well.</div>

Furthermore, her friendship with Lynch’s Maria Rambeau is important and one of the best things about the film.</div>

The same can be said for Mendelsohn’s Talos who can be given anything and he’ll put 100% effort in. It actually showed me why people think he’s one of the greatest actors working today because Talos is one of the weakest villains in MCU history.<br />

On late Friday <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/scooby-doo-movie-star-will-forte-gina-rodriguez-tracy-morgan-1177354" target="_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a> broke a story that Scooby Doo’s big screen animated return has found a handful of its voice cast.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
It also revealed the bigger plain Warner Bros Animation division has for their Hanna-Barbera cartoons, but before we talk about that the voice cast has got an impressive current line-up featuring voices and faces well known from TV.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The current big announcement is Gina Rodriguez, from Jane the Virgin fame, will be voicing Velma and this is a great choice and can’t think of any better. While veteran voice actor Frank Welker will voice the greatest of all Great Danes, Scooby Doo.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Because anyone else cast would’ve been awful as Welker has been voicing Scooby since 2002 and this leads to the point where I’m slightly pissed off.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The other name revealed was The Last Man on Earth star Will Forte will voice Shaggy and while I’m sure he’ll do a great job and by the time the first teaser/ trailer comes around, I’ll be praising him.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
However, as a fan of the cartoon since I can remember, who saw both live action films in the cinema and still watch it to this day at the age of 26, Matthew Lillard should’ve also been brought in as he’s been the voice of Shaggy since 2009 after original star Casey Kasem retired.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Lillard has done a superb since taking over voicing the character in straight-to-DVD movies, TV series and games and it would’ve been a nice thank you from the studio for his 10 years of service.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
It’s was also a shitty way for the 49-year-old actor to learn this news not from his agent or WB but from Twitter which must’ve been a massive kick in the bollocks.<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb">

What a crappy way to find out.... thanks Hollywood. You never sense to amaze me. <a href="https://t.co/QDdlMAqlrZ">https://t.co/QDdlMAqlrZ</a></div>

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I understand that Forte is a bigger name and will help get bums in seats but you could’ve done that with Rodriguez and whoever comes in to voice Fred, Daphne and the villain.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The surprise from these voice casting’s was Tracy Morgan is on board as Captain Caveman, which suggest we’re getting a larger Hanna-Barbera universe so we could possibly get a Captain Caveman, Wacky Races and Hong Kong Phooey movies and its mental to think this could happen.<br />

Bond 25 may have moved release date but production is expected to begin in the spring, so likely an April – June date, and casting is getting close to being sorted to join Daniel Craig’s final 007 outing.<br />

According to <a href="https://variety.com/2019/film/news/bond-25-cast-billy-magnussen-bond-girls-1203151088/" target="_blank">Variety</a>, producers are looking at securing recent Best Actor Oscar winner Rami Malek to star as the villain after previously thinking it couldn’t work with his schedule for the final season of Mr Robot. However, since meeting other talent producers have stayed firm on Malek working hard for months to make sure he can do both shoots.</div>

Another role up for grabs is an American CIA agent described as “similar to Jeffrey Wright’s in past instalments” so could this be a new Felix Leiter? It would be a shame as Wright was good especially in Casino Royale and it would’ve been nice to see him return for Craig’s final Bond.</div>

Plus if it was a new Felix, why wouldn’t they wait until Bond 26 with a new 007. However, I could be thinking way too hard about this and is a new character and sources are telling the US trade that Billy Magnussen is the number one choice to play the CIA operative that crosses paths with Bond throughout the film.<br />

The questions around the behind the scenes work at Warner Bros regarding their DC Universe and their future has been a topic of conversation and it looks like we’ve got the final nail in the coffin of their shared universe.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Even though I thought this question was answered by <a href="http://theshaunwrenblog.blogspot.com/2019/01/warner-bros-chairman-toby-emmerich-outlines-dceu-future.html" target="_blank">Warner Bros Chairman Toby Emmerich at the beginning of the year</a> it seems three is the magic number as the studios chief executive Kevin Tsujihara made sure everyone knows the DC shared universe is having a break, for now at least.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
In an interview with <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-fi-ct-kevin-tsujihara-warner-bros-interview-20190227-story.html" target="_blank">LA Times</a> the topic of DC came up and good old Kev stated with the upcoming slate of films including Shazam, Joker, Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds of Prey and then the projects of The Batman, The Suicide Squad and Aquaman 2 in some form of production, everything is going well at DC Films.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
He goes on to reveal, “The universe isn’t as connected as we thought it was going to be five years ago. You’re seeing much more focus on individual experiences around individual characters. That’s not to say we won’t at some point come back to that notion of a more connected universe. But it feels like that’s the right strategy for us right now.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
So how did everyone come to this realisation? Well, you can this now on the long list of the wonderful things Patty Jenkins and Wonder Woman has done since its release.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“What Patty Jenkins did on “Wonder Woman” illustrated to us what you could do with these characters who are not Batman and Superman,” said Tsujihara.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’m sure DC comic fans are screaming at them “we know, we’ve been trying to tell you!” because it was clearly a fluke Wonder Woman and Aquaman have been in print of 77 years!</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Anyway, Kevin continues “Obviously, we want to get those two in the right place, and we want strong movies around Batman and Superman. But “Aquaman” is a perfect example of what we can do. They’re each unique and the tone’s different in each movie.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Again fans will be screaming their lungs out about Henry Cavill being the perfect Superman and how hard is it to find a director or writers to pen a Man of Steel 2?</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I like that DC has stopped trying to be Marvel and be interconnecting and do their own thing and has shown by Wonder Woman and Aquaman it clearly works for them but I’ll forever love how the other members of the Justice League were introduced in Batman v Superman.</div>

For the past years, I’ve been a massive of Mischief Theatre I’ve seen three of their shows and they’ve played an important part in my life and it makes me so happy to write this story about the group getting their own TV series.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>

The Mischief Theatre team and will be working with the BBC after two successful Xmas special to bring to life The Goes Wrong Show.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
The show will be a six-part half-hour episode filmed in front of a live studio audience and will see The Cornley Drama Society bring their brand of theatre to a number of genres including World War II spy-thriller The Pilot (which isn’t the pilot) and gripping courtroom drama A Trial To Watch. However, their endeavours will be held back by prolific over-actor Robert Grove, screen-hogging Sandra Wilkinson and the artistically mistrusted Dennis Tyde.<br />

Honestly, it’s about time this team got a show at either the BBC or Netflix as they’ve been blazing a trial for a number of years now since their show The Play That Goes Wrong becoming an international success especially when you have JJ Abrams as a producer at the Broadway show.</div>

As I said above Mischief Theatre have been around for some important moments, I first saw their brand of comedy in The Comedy About A Bank Robbery after I suffered from my first ever panic attack at work and had to finally tell my parents about my mental health issues after keeping it secret for two years.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>

Then I finally got around to see The Play That Goes Wrong in Southampton when it went out on its UK tour and was at the final night of their limited <a href="http://theshaunwrenblog.blogspot.com/2018/02/mischief-movie-night-review.html" target="_blank">Mischief Movie Nights</a> last year having issues with my mental health during the Xmas period and turning 25.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’m now looking forward to seeing them back on a London stage in October for their new show Groan Ups.</div>

Mischief and BBC are working with Lionsgate and they’ll be handling the international rights and filming is set to begin in March in Manchester.</div>

The build-up to last night’s Oscars has been nothing short of a shit show from issues with Kevin Hart signing up and then leaving as host, unable to find a host, the introduction and quick removal of the “Popular Film” category.<br />

As I said above possibly my favourite in the genre the Northern Irish actor curved for himself. You feel sympathy for him and understood the rage inside him to find the men responsible and wanting to get some payback.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
It would’ve been a dark action drama but instead, the use of comedy works brilliantly and helps make you realise that this is a have a drink and relax as you watch a see the complete mental fun of it all.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
Bateman does an equally comedic performance and it doesn’t hide the viciousness towards people and could be seen similarly to Neeson’s Coxman as he too would do anything for his son, even if his motives are a bit insane.</div>

Look out, Brother! The Real American is going to be played by an Australian as Chris Hemsworth is set to play wrestling iconic in a biopic set to be released by Netflix.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
<a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/chris-hemsworth-play-hulk-hogan-biopic-1186126" target="_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a> broke the story and revealed The Hangover and upcoming Joker movie filmmaker Todd Phillips is set to direct with Scott Silver, who worked with Phillips penning the upcoming film based on the DC Comics character, and will co-write the script with Stronger screenwriter John Pollono.<br />

This project got even more exciting as Michael Sugar is attached to produce and he was behind the Oscar-winning Spotlight and this is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Additionally, WWE have nothing to do with the film so they could tell a truer story.<br />

Meanwhile, the Thor and Marvel star is the perfect choice to play the role and will look damn convincing. </div>

Instead, the film will focus on what’s being described as an “origin story” of Hulkamania.<br />

I would’ve been more excited if there was no involvement from Bischoff and Bollea had a minimal contribution by speaking to Hemsworth and Phillips for a couple of hours and not having to worry about him some creative say on the film.</div>

However, last night it was reported that Warner Bros and the Apes filmmaker has found their next Batman as <a href="https://revengeofthefans.com/2019/02/18/armie-hammer-is-in-final-talks-to-be-the-batman-exclusive/" target="_blank">Revenge of the Fans</a> are stating Armie Hammer is in “final talks” to play Batman.<br />

Wan and Peter Safran will be serving as producers and I’m guessing WB and Wan are working things out on a new deal for him to return with a massive pay bonus as Aquaman became the highest grossing DC film since The Dark Knight Rises and the studios first billion-dollar box office since 2012’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.</div>

As the film explained, the Trench were once Atlanteans who sunk to the deepest part of the ocean when Atlantis fell and had to evolve to survive. This would make the ideal story for a body horror seeing these Atlanteans slowly turn into these murderous monsters.</div>

It just mental to think that WB and DC Films head chief Walter Hamada have found writers for The Trench, yet it seems no one has the perfect pitch for Man of Steel 2, while Nightwing, Deathstroke, Green Lantern Corps, Cyborg, The Flash, Blue Beetle and others are in some sort of development.</div>

I think to fans these projects are more important than a spinoff based on creatures in the Aquaman movie. Additionally, if these creatures are so important then have them in the sequel with Black Manta as their leader to bring the fight to Aquaman, Mera and Atlantis.</div>

If they were announcing spinoff’s everyone would’ve thought Amber Heard’s Mera would’ve been the first one to get off the ground, but I’m sure this will be another project announced soon and in development.<br />

In the past month or so I was FINALLY able to binge watch DC’s Titans on Netflix as Warner Bros seem to have a deal with the streaming service for the international rights instead of bringing DC Universe worldwide and likes even likelier that it’ll remain US only which sucks.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
However, after watching the season finale it’s safe to say for me this is the best DC TV series they’ve done since the first two seasons of Arrow. The darker, more adult tone suits me better than the Arrowverse (which I still enjoy) and I’ve enjoyed seeing these characters grow as Brenton Thwaites has become Dick Grayson for me to the point I would’ve loved to seen his Robin and Ben Affleck’s Batman together.<br />

The BAFTA’s is my favourite film award as we celebrate not just all of cinema but British cinema. However, this year it just all felt a bit flat.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The speeches were overlong, the comedy which was lacking massively. It’s a shame as there should be fun banter to break the mood, poke fun at the Royals at the front row, at the nominees, it was all frankly boring.</div>

For example, I’d love if the UK had an Andy Samberg type, comedic host.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’m sure plenty will ask for Ricky Gervais, but I’m not sure BAFTA will give it to him. Then they’d be rumblings of James Corden and I think that’d annoy a lot of people. The first person that came to my mind was actually Phoebe Waller-Bridge.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Her writing is fantastic, is loved within the industry because of Fleabag and Killing Eve, has done live stuff before performing at the Edinburgh Festival and I think she wouldn’t hold back on the nominees and poke fun at them.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Or another out their choice is Greg Davies. He’s one of the best comedians in the UK, incredibly funny and has hosted live TV before. Plus, if BAFTA awards go live (PLEASE GO LIVE) he could be a safer PG choice but he should be as R-rated as he wants similar to Waller-Bridge.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Speaking of going live, this is an issue that comes around every single year but nobody as BAFTA or BBC seems to want to do anything. It’s probably on the BBC as they don’t want to lose the 7pm and 8pm time slot, which is fair enough but you have the question of why not have it shown live at 9pm??</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
If you gave time to the other awards like you’re seriously living Best Animated in the recap? To get rid of all these issues is have the awards go live at 8:30pm and it would still finish by about 11. Additionally, throw away the pointless opening performance that wastes 10 minutes.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
If anything, have a band open the show. For example, if Davies was to host bring in his Taskmaster co-star Alex Horne and his band The Horne Section as the awards house band for the night and make people laugh that way as well.<br />

This is the perfect length for the series as a lot of people will be able to binge it in a day and I won't be surprised if it's announced that the series will be R rated. </div>

We also got a synopsis as the show will “revolve around Mark Grayson (Yeah), who’s just like every other guy his age – except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (Simmons). Due to the phenomenal critical, audience and fan reaction to smash hit Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, it was a matter of when, not if, Warner Bros Animation and DC Films worked together with a bigger budget to bring a DC animation to the big screen.<br />

I feel like that’s a little bit bollocks as we know from the likes of Disney and Pixar that animation takes forever so if they’re aiming for a 2022 release that they should be started to get drawings and everything else prepped once the buzz of Spider-Verse started in November 2018.</div>

I’m sure fans would’ve loved to see Batman Beyond as a live-action, but Spider-verse has proven animation has been a fantastic way to tell a superhero origin story as well as building a universe and breaking ground in the genre. Animation would be perfect for Beyond because of the character being set in the future and it could continue where Spider-Verse started.</div>

Finally, I love Deadshot and Captain Boomerang as a double act as Boomerang annoys the living crap of Floyd Lawton. Bringing back Will Smith should be fine as Bad Boyz For Life would’ve wrapped filming and will be in shape to start a summer filming for Suicide Squad.</div>

Well, it’s official, the news we were expecting but never truly wanted has come true as Ben Affleck WILL NOT be returning to play Batman for Matt Reeves’ The Batman.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<a href="https://deadline.com/2019/01/the-batman-june-2021-release-date-ben-affleck-not-starring-1202545821/" target="_blank">Deadline</a> broke the story stating Reeves will be focusing on a younger Batman and the DC film has been given a release date of June 25, 2021.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
The release date makes sense as Batman is a character that can dominate the summer box office as proven by Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy and it also says to me that it’s every likely filming will begin this summer.</div>

There’s been rumours around Affleck not returning for years now after he stepped away from directing and was replaced by Reeves in February 2017 and according to <a href="https://variety.com/2019/film/news/the-batman-release-date-1203124294/" target="_blank">Variety</a> the Planet of the Apes prequel/sequels filmmaker are giving a “final polish” to his script with studio execs being “very happy with early versions of Reeves’ draft”.</div>

It sounds like Reeves will meeting with potential actors with the US trade stating no details have been revealed but the young of Bruce Wayne is beginning discussed. Mainly because the filmmaker won’t need to answer the Affleck questions anymore as well as moulding this character to how he wants to see him. Meanwhile, as for Affleck, the Oscar winner will be busy starring and producing the adaptation of Kate Alice Marshall’s novel I Am Still Alive, will start doing press for Netflix’s Triple Frontier, re-teaming with Gavin O’Connor starring in Torrance with the possibility of a sequel to The Accountant.<br />

We also have his Dark Knight in Batman v Superman, which continues to be the best ever live-action version of Bruce Wayne and Batman. We also never know, Affleck could always come back in the cowl for the adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns in the future.</div>

<a name='more'></a><br />
That’s right bitches, Zack is back and in his words “no one’s ever let me completely loose” as he signed on to direct the horror thriller Army of the Dead for Netflix.<br />
<br />
Snyder will be producing the film, as well as helming, alongside his producer wife Deborah and it marks a return to filmmaking partners since the awful tragedy of the suicide of their daughter which resulted in them stepping away from Justice League.<br />
<br />
As <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/zack-snyder-returns-movies-zombie-pic-army-dead-1178979" target="_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a> stated this is an original story from Snyder, with the script written by Joby Harold. The film will be set during a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas as a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.<br />
<br />
This completely mental idea that suits the Man of Steel director as he will be returning to his roots as his debut film was the remake of Dawn of the Dead back in 2004, which is seen by many in the film world as Snyder’s best.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ze-F3Ah-ayI/XFG6MIV_lRI/AAAAAAAAJUc/YQGiWqaCM9UEw7TdgoJvLNaruKAutNZ0wCLcBGAs/s1600/Zack%2BSnyder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="999" data-original-width="1537" height="258" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ze-F3Ah-ayI/XFG6MIV_lRI/AAAAAAAAJUc/YQGiWqaCM9UEw7TdgoJvLNaruKAutNZ0wCLcBGAs/s400/Zack%2BSnyder.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Speaking of his adaptation to THR, “I love to honor canon and the works of art but this is the opportunity to find the pure joyful way to express myself though a genre. It will be the most kick-ass, self-aware – but not in a wink-to-the-camera way – balls-to-the-wall zombie freakshow that anyone has ever seen.<br />
<br />
“No one’s ever let me completely loose [like this].”<br />
<br />
The project was under Warner Bros, but Netflix will now be taking over and has given it roughly $90 million budget as filming set to begin this Summer with a 2020 release.<br />
<br />
Snyder tells THR “there are no handcuffs on me at all with this one” with this being aimed at this former studio home Warner Bros.<br />
<br />
Fans have been waiting to see how the filmmaker returns as the Snyder’s have been understandably away from the spotlight spending time as a family and spending time raising money and awareness for suicide awareness causes. They’ve also repackaged their production company, Stone Quarry (formerly Cruel & Unusual Films).<br />
<br />
Army will be seen as a palate cleanser and cathartic experience for Snyder and you can see the excitement in these quotes adding “I love big action, I love big sequences.<br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">IMAGE VIA CLAY ENOS</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
“My movie brain starts clicking around and I was like, “We need to be shooting this now!’ Constructing these sequences really fired me up.”<br />
<br />
Additionally, despite enjoying the big tentpole films, Zack is more excited to getting his hands dirty again having the camera in his hands.<br />
<br />
I woke up to this news, which by the time was about seven hours old but was still dominating Twitter with fans excitement and if I was Netflix I’d be looking at this and think about taking to cinemas for a run.<br />
<br />
This could easily be Netflix’s most excited and highly anticipated film they’ve ever announced will likely break records for the most watched original film.<br />
<br />
I’m a fan of Snyder’s and honestly can’t wait to see what they’ll bring and do. Hopefully, his filmmaking partner-in-crime Larry Fong has to come onboard as the cinematographer of the film. As for the cast, I and plenty of fans hope Ray Fisher be the film's lead as he continue to show love and support for the man who casted him as Cyborg.<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb">

<script async="" charset="utf-8" src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>
<br />
Then I won’t be surprised Snyder will find one or two kick-ass female’s with one of them hopefully Samantha Jo (who starred in Zack's short film Snow Steam Iron) if available Jason Momoa could get involved and I’m sure they’ll be an acting legend.<br />

Even though I’m excited for Zack, this film and know he’ll break ground (because he’s ZACK FUCKING SNYDER). However, I’m not a fan of horror films so I’m not sure I’ll actually watch it.<br />

While Wrestlemania is the big show with the highest of profile matches, my favourite WWE PPV is the Royal Rumble. I like getting surprised when a wrestler comes out and that happened a lot a last night’s show and with Takeover, the night before this was easily my favourite back-to-back since probably last year’s Wrestlemania.<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Firstly I wanted to look back to Takeover: Phoenix and speculate what could happen moving forward to Wrestlemania weekend in a couple of months time.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I loved the opening match and the fact NXT opens the show with the tag teams and Saturday (I watched on Sunday morning due to the time difference and me liking sleep) was no different with champions Undisputed Era and challengers War Raiders utterly killing it.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
The match itself was more of a tornado tag and the crowd had to warm up but were loving it as it went on and you had to catch your breath. I was surprised Hanson and Rowe went over winning the titles from UE.</div>

I popped most when Hanson was cartwheeling his way out of double team moves and the springboard elbows earn the end of the bout and Rowe doing a power slam/ powerbomb to Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.<br />
<br />
The main reason for my surprise as I thought in my preview/prediction piece, I thought UE would keep hold of the titles until Takeover: New York (I’m guessing that’s the name of the show) to give not only War Raiders a bigger crowd pop but also be the passing of the touch as Undisputed Era move to the main roster.</div>
