Up first, last week I was talking about how Paramount had a shortlist of actresses to be the female lead in the Baywatch movie. It was announced on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Instagram that Alexandra Daddario (who started alongside Johnson in San Andreas) will be joining the former WWE wrestler and Zac Efron in the comedy.
This is great news because not only can her blue eyes and god given beauty make everyone fall in love with her, but she also a super talented actress and was one of the big reason why San Andreas was a good movie.
One of the biggest news stories coming out this week was
there will be a remake of the near perfect Christopher Nolan film ‘Memento’. I’m
going to stop myself from going on a rant about why this film doesn’t need to
be remade.
This film is only 15 years old, so it’s in no need for a remake whatsoever and for those who haven’t seen this classic, which was one of the reasons why he got to direct the Batman films and became one of the most loved directors today, go to HMV and pick up the DVD it’ll be under a £10 and money well spent.
There’s the synopsis - Leonard (Guy Pearce) is tracking down the man who raped and murdered his wife. The difficulty, however, of locating his wife's killer is compounded by the fact that he suffers from a rare, untreatable form of memory loss. Although he can recall details of life before his accident, Leonard cannot remember what happened fifteen minutes ago, where he's going, or why.

DC News
This week only two films have taken the spotlight with
images and a press release for the upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ film which dropped
TODAY! (Saturday 21st November) and rumours about possible casting
and directors for Justice League Dark, but we’ll get to that.
The biggest news story coming out of the DCCU has to be about Wonder Woman, which again only dropped TODAY! (Saturday 21st November), and we have some cast announcements from it.
Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and she’ll have
Zack Snyder there on hand to help as a producer and the man overseeing the
whole DC Cinematic Universe.
