Entertainment Weekly released this awesome new image of The Flash, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) from the Justice League.
Along with the image, Ezra Miller, who’ll play the Scarlet Speedster in the DC Comics superhero team-up, described how Barry Allen’s relationship is with the other league members.

“Flash is Ringo Starr” said Miller when talking about his character. “He annoys everybody, but doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone.”
Miller offered Flash’s family references of his fellow leaguers, “Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s had a long life of fighting crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.”
What I love about these comments is that Flash will be the entire point into the DCU and this film for a lot of parents with younger children, who felt with recent films unsuitable for their child, and they want to see him having fun in his solo film. It also fully confirms Miller’s Flash will be the light, humorous relief for many people asking for in the DCU.
I’m just looking forward hearing Flash saying to the other League members “I’ll be there in a Flash” and Batman rolling his eyes.
Director Zack Snyder also gave a quick comment to EW saying “I’m super happy with the chemistry of my league of justice doers.”
About the image itself, as a said at the top I think it’s awesome, I love the colours from the costumes and blue from Flash’s speed lighting the whole frame. Speaking of costumes, I really like the DIY look to Flash’s costume. You can see the wire holding it together and the mixture of black and red makes it different from the comics and TV show.
I still fully expect Bruce Wayne to have made a brand new all red suit by the end of the film.
What I particularly like about this image is while Wonder Woman and Flash look worried/scared, you’ve got Batman having this “Oh for fuck sake” face.
There was speculation about what they were looking at from Superman coming back to save their arse or Parademons and thanks to Comicbook.com they did confirm it was the latter.
Brandon Davis was one of the many lucky bastards to visit the set of Justice League. He went on to give a description of what is happening in the image.
!!!WARNING FOR MINOR SPOILERS!!!
“Batman, The Flash and Wonder Woman are in a Gotham ventilation tower in this photo. It’s was a massive set built for an action scene. The group gets word of a parademon nest after a conversation with Commissioner Gordon and set out in Batman’s new four-legged Crawler vehicle (a formidable spider-like tank which can crawl up walls).
“Digging their way through a tunnel to the ventilation shaft on (or near) Stryker’s Island, Batman’s Crawler uses various weapons to fend off ravenous parademons trying to attack them. Once inside, they find a massive horde of creatures and fight their way out, including a sequence on a long and broken bridge outside the shaft.
“Eventually, the Crawler ends up buried in water as the ventilation shaft presumably ends up flooded. Cue: Aquaman’s entrance?”
Davis added, “In any case, concept art showed the three heroes standing on top of the Crawler as it became consumed by water.”
This scene Davis is describing sounds incredible and will likely be one of the first major action sequences in this film and if it was the introduction for Aquaman (and Mera?) killing parademons left, right and centre, it makes more sense Wonder Woman likes to be in less worried/scared, but in awe.
