Mission: Impossible 6 Adds Some Man Of Steel As Henry Cavill Joins The Franchise

While he is not busy dropping Green Lantern hints and getting completely ripped, Henry Cavill just signed to join Mission: Impossible 6.

The news was confirmed that Cavill is set to star alongside Tom Cruise in the next instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise from director Christopher McQuarrie’s Instagram.

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

“Say @henrycavill. Had a thought. Curious if you’re interested in a role in the 6th instalment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure” said McQuarrie.

Cavill replied with a quip “How can I say no to a man with such perfect hair.” McQuarrie then explained what he’ll be doing, which includes “extreme heights, high speeds…practical stunts, firearms, and sporadic exposition.”

“Only if I get to fly for real” Cavill replied.

Cavill is no stranger to spy films after starring in the underrated The Man from Uncle and I bet he’ll be the film's villain.

Mission: Impossible 6 is set to hit cinemas in July 2018 and starring alongside Cruise is Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner and now Cavill. McQuarrie has returned to helm the film and is producing with JJ Abrams.
