It looks like Sony Pictures go out of their way to annoy Marvel boss Kevin Feige whenever they get the chance.
First, it was the Venom movie and other planned Spider-Man spinoff movies without connecting them to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and the MCU and now another of the studio's franchises is getting rebooted with one of Marvel’s biggest current heroes and now they’ve just added one of the MCU’s future stars.
Chris Hemsworth joined the reboot of Men of Black earlier this month as one of the younger agents to save the world from aliens.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony has now looked back at Hemsworth’s previous movies and decided that since they work so brilliantly well (for the most part anyway) in Thor: Ragnarok, Tessa Thompson has signed up for MiB.

There were fans thinking and maybe hoping Tiffany Haddish or after giving such a superb performance in Black Panther, Letitia Wright could’ve gotten cast.
This reboot is set to be more of a global story, but mainly set in London and it’ll be interesting out of the Thor co-stars which will be having the English accent as we know Hemsworth could playing the God of Thunder and Thompson did a great job as Valkyrie in Ragnarok.
Her accent was so convincing I was generally wondering if she was from the UK in the first place.
The studio will be hoping both stars can carry and improve on their chemistry to get audiences interested in seeing the film and I bet they’re happy that could possibly piss of Feige as this mess up his future plans especially for Thompson’s Valkyrie.

As it’s a possibility that Hemsworth could be passing the Thor name to the 34-year-old actress after either Infinity War or Avengers 4 so for the Aussie actor MiB has come at the perfect time.
The film will be directed by Fast and Furious 8’s F Gary Grey with Iron Man and Punisher: War Zone screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Steven Spielberg attached as producer (in name only).
Men in Black is slated for a June 14, 2019, UK and US release date.
