After Tim Miller left Deadpool 2 everyone (including myself) were bummed out and it was reported he was bumping heads with Deadpool star and producer Ryan Reynolds.
Miller wanted the sequel to be a slick, stylised film and Reynolds wanted to continue with the same R-rated raunchy humour that made the original film such a massive success.
“All I can really add is that I’m sad to see him of the film.
Even though this didn’t add much, it did show the respect Reynolds had for his former director.
However, he did hint there were major creative differences between the two while working together on the first film.
“There were vaguely scary fights in the post-production process that escalated quickly,” he said.
“I know when I need to exert control, and I know when I need to let go of it. I’m gonna go and sit with Tim Miller and say, ‘The visual effects of Deadpool need to be done this way.’ The man is a visual effects wizard.
“But there are character and tone things that I know really well. And I’ve been with this the longest out of anybody, aside from the guys that wrote the comics.”

Reynolds saying this shows more evidence that it was the right thing for him and Miller went their separate ways.
The actor also went on to tell GQ about his 11-year struggle of getting the film made and he was going to give up creative control without a fight.
“Eleven years I’ve been trying to get this Sisyphus rock up the hill, and it kept rolling back on top of me.
“So I’m gonna be all the f**k over it from the moment it starts to the moment it finishes” he added.
Deadpool 2 is slated to come out Spring 2018, but it might be delayed so they can find the right director.
