Batman v Superman Tickets ON SALE and Justice League News

There’s been a lot of Batman v Superman news released recently with tickets officially on sale, Henry Cavill talks about the film and Justice League, Ben Affleck gave fans a ride in the Batmobile and could an Oscar nominated director be producing Justice League?

If you didn’t know already we’re only THREE WEEKS AWAY from the release of Batman v Superman and you can buy tickets to one (if not thee) biggest superhero movies EVER and fans from both sides of the Atlantic have been going crazy.

I’ve already bought my ticket for Friday evening, but I’m also most likely to go on both Thursday and Saturday (and yes, I know it’s sad), I wouldn’t be surprised if this film breaks, at least, $250 million worldwide as the film is released simultaneously in the US, UK, Japan, China and probably a lot more countries.

A big factor if the film gets good buzz is from the fan screening, which is happening on Monday 21st, because last April Warner Bros held an IMAX special event to premiere the very first trailer and fans were asked to submit their email address in exchange for a free IMAX ticket.

How much should we take away from fans seeing a film which as been getting a lot of mixed rumoured reaction? A lot, because Deadpool was shown in front of fans at a special screening and all the buzz on Twitter helped the film because the most successful R rated comic book movie ever.

Also, because its Twitter, fans will give their honest response and DC fans are passionate and will be vocal if the film isn’t good.

The one thing that surprised fans and got them excited and slightly annoyed was Doomsday (sorry spoilers) getting revealed in the third trailer and now the actor who brought the CGI character to life took to Twitter.

Robin Atkon Downes is a voice and motion capture character, who’s appeared in many TV shows and video games. It’s unknown if he provided the voiceover or motion capture or even both?

Elsewhere, Ben Affleck has been giving lucky fans a ride in the brand new Batmoblie as Batman v Superman have partnered with charity site Omaze for you to donate and win some amazing prizes.

The grade prize winner will get to ride in the Batmoblie and then take a photo with Ben Affleck at the New York premiere, fly in a helicopter with Henry Cavill and photobomb the cast on the red carpet at the premiere with Jesse Eisenberg.

You can also watch Cavill talk to kids and heads up, it’s adorable and Eisenberg interviewing fans to who’s better Batman, Superman or Lex Luthor.

Speaking of Cavill, he was interviewed by MTV on the red carpet at the Oscars where he talked about how Batman could beat Superman in a fight and how excited he is about Justice League after reading the script.

The one thing he was unable to confirm is the rumour that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller could be a part of the superhero team up as producer according to Acting Auditions.

Nothing has been confirmed by Warner Bros and we’ll find out once we see the press release for Justice League, which could be released on April 11th when shooting begins.

It’s sort of a big issue Miller, is rumoured, to be involved because eight years ago the Oscar nominated director was about to shoot his own Justice League film called Justice League Mortal. It never happened due to the writers’ strike, but you can read and download the script here

The likelihood is that Miller will be giving advice to director Zack Snyder and maybe help during post production.

That’s all you’re DC Movie News for this week, make sure you’re following me on Twitter and I’ll see you again soon.
