So after I written and posted up
my news round-up of what’s happening in DC Films, a few hours later film websites reveal what they saw at a set visit of Suicide Squad and then Warner Bros announce who and what will be happening at their Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.
In a
press release, WB revealed US talk show host Conan O’Brien will moderating the panels on Saturday 23rd July, which begins at 11:30am LA time (7:30pm here in the UK), and this is what you can expect:
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Director David Yates will be in attendance to talk about the Harry Potter prequel/spin-off along with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Colin Farrell.
- Kong: Skull Island: Stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be talking about this film that’s in the same universe as Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla.
- The LEGO Batman Movie/ King Arthur: Legend of the Sword: LEGO Batman himself Will Arnett will be there with director Chris McKay and Charlie Hunnam, who plays King Arthur in Guy Ritchie’s epic actioner, will also show up.
- Wonder Woman: The first ever female superhero film will have its first ever Hall H panel and along with director Patty Jenkins will be the films stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Connie Nielson.
- Suicide Squad: This is the main panel for Warner Bros this year and everyone is there including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Adam Beach, Cara Delevingne and Scott Eastwood, plus writer/director David Ayer.
As you can see there’s no mention of Justice League, which is fine because they’ve got next year’s Comic-Con to take control, but I do expect they’ll be a Justice League presents just because both Gadot and Miller are there and Zack Snyder does love attending this event.

Also on that Saturday Warner Bros will be having three booths and in the WB Booth there will be a “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” Wand Station and talent signing, “The LEGO Batman Movie” Selfie Booth, and an autograph signing with “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” star Charlie Hunnam.
While at the DC Booth, the cast of both “Suicide Squad” and “Wonder Woman” will be signing autographs and they’ll be a costume displays and a life-sized LEGO Batman character.

There’s also a LEGO Booth where the cast will be signing autographs as well as the Selfie Booth, fans can also go into the building zone and help LEGO Master Builders build a life-sized LEGO Batman, Batgirl and Joker from “The LEGO Batman Movie”.
I’m guessing they’ll be new trailers for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “The LEGO Batman Movie”, plus a first look at “Kong: Skull Island” and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Finally, Warner Bros will unveil the first ever trailer for “Wonder Woman” and I’m hoping during the “Suicide Squad” panel they announce they’ll be a screening that Saturday evening and Zack Snyder does come out a give fans a clip from Justice League, probably the Barry Allen/Bruce Wayne scene.
