DC Entertainment and co-chief of DC Films, Geoff Johns has confirmed Joe Manganiello will be Deathstroke in the Ben Affleck directed Batman film.
Johns confirmed the news whilst talking to The Wall Street Journal, but while he did confirm the villain will be in the solo Batman he refuses
to comment if we’ll get to see the True Blood star make his first appearance in
Justice League.

Last week, Affleck got fans hugely excited when he released this video on Twitter and we now know it’s Manganiello under the armour.

Manganiello, who played Big Dick Ritchie in the Magic Mike films, updated his Twitter and letting fans know “It’s on.”
I really think this is good casting and working with someone like Affleck will make Manganiello a better actor and having Deathstroke as Batman’s first villain will ground this universe.
