Live By Night wasn’t the only kick ass trailer to be released today as we got a first look at Ben Wheatley’s highly anticipated Free Fire.
Written by Amy Jump and Ben Wheatley and produced by Andy
Starke of Rook Films, FREE FIRE
boasts an all-star cast featuring Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Brie Larson,
Cillian Murphy, Jack Reynor, Babou Ceesay, Enzo Cilenti, Sam Riley, Michael
Smiley and Noah Taylor. Check out the trailer below.
I have to say I wasn’t sure what to expect, only that Brie Larson was going to be a badass action hero.
What I saw was a brilliantly funny film with an incredible cast and I love the fact its set in one room (something Larson should be used too), set in the 70s and the humour seems to be childish.
The fact Larson was starting got me interested, now this
trailer has sailed it for me and is now is top three highly anticipated films
during the London Film Festival.

Free Fire opens in UK cinemas nationwide on 31st March 2017.

(Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two
Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto
Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. But when
shots are fired in the handover, a heart stopping game of survival ensues.
