Did Joe Manganiello Reveal When The Batman Will Start Filming?

Joe Manganiello may have accidently revealed when filming for Ben Affleck’s Batman will begin.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Manganiello at the Mohegan Sun’s 20th-anniversary party this past weekend.

While talking to ET, Manganiello, who’ll play villain Deathstroke in The Batman, revealed shooting will begin sooner than originally thought.

When asked how he’s doing after recent health scares, the 39-year-old replied “Great, man. Just getting ready to go and shoot Batman in the spring.”

Meanwhile, during his promoting of The Accountant, Affleck has been implying his solo Batman film was further away than we all thought and they’re still in the early stages of planning budgets and working on the script.

After spilling the beans, it wouldn’t be surprising got a server bollocking from Geoff Johns, Jon Berg (Co-heads of DC Films) and Affleck himself. I guess DC/Warner Bros wanted to surprise the fans, maybe around Christmas time, with this news with an official poster and cast announcements.

Filming in spring could mean The Batman starts shooting around March – May next year and with this schedule, it’s likely the October 5th, 2018 date Warner Bros has saved for an untitled DC Film could be for Affleck’s Batman.

How awesome would that be, seeing a Batman film around Halloween.

Check out Manganiello comment’s in the video below.
