After Luke Cage received fantastic word of mouth from fans on social media and critics, which lead to Netflix US breaking down, Netflix have today (4th October) announced the premiere date of its final Marvel show Iron Fist.

The series will premiere on March 17, 2017, and will available to watch on the streaming service from 08:01am here in the UK (12:01am PT).

Iron Fist is the fourth in four epic live-action series (Daredevil season 1 & 2, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are available to stream right now) and this will be the final standalone series before all these characters team up in Marvel’s The Defenders. The action/drama will have 13 one-hour episodes.

This seems to an ideal date for the series to come out as audiences will have a better understanding of the Marvel's mystical side because of Doctor Strange introducing us to this realm. Also, look out for Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple to make a cameo or appear in a couple of episodes.

Meanwhile, judging by this image alone, we’ll be getting another awesome hallway scene.
