Not going to lie, I was a little bummed out Tim Miller left Deadpool 2 and was going to keep a close eye to who would replace him because it was going to be a tough job considering how great the original Deadpool turned out to be.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like the wait is over as Fox and Ryan Reynolds have found the right replacement in David Leitch.
Mashable were the first to break this story a couple of weeks back.

You may not know who Leitch is, but he’s been a bit of an up-and-comer as he was one of the duo directing the surprise hit, John Wick. He made the impossible by making Keanu Reeves look good and relevant again, which is no mean feet.

I’d have to say this is a decent director to bring on a Deadpool sequel to give the vision of the film Reynolds and co are looking for. Meanwhile, the action and fight scenes will look awesome as Leitch as worked for many years as a stunt co-ordinator.
Deadpool 2 is scheduled for a spring 2018 release.
