For those reading Love Actually is my favourite film ever. There are movies I love like - The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dumb and Dumber, any Star Wars film, but Love Actually holds has a special place in my heart.
I watch it everytime it on TV. However, though out the year's people have been wondering what has happened to the characters and Emma Freud (film's script editor/producer) does do a great job in filling out the holes whenever she's asked on Twitter. People still wanted a sequel.

However, because this film is special to me I've never needed to know the future of happened to the "God of Sex" Colin Frissell (Kris Marshall) and his glamorous American girlfriend or if Sarah (Laura Linney) finally got her hands on Rodrigo Santoro's ridiculously ripped Karl.
On the other hand, I can't help but have an inner cheer when Richard Curtis revealed a sequel will be airing during Comic Relief (Red Nose Day) and we got the first trailer showing off a large number of the original cast returning.

One big name is sadly missing from this 10-minute special, Emma Thompson. It's still a rumour she won't appear and it's understandable as she played Alan Rickman's wife and she's probably super busy filming on another project.
Minus this sad setback and the fact Richard Curtis has retired from filmmaking and confirming to the Radio Times "I've always been sure I wouldn't do a sequel - but I hand sometimes thought it would have been fun to see what some of the characters were up to."

However, the social media buzz and reaction to this mini-sequel might give Working Title and Universal an idea a full-length sequel could be pitched, but ultimately 10 minutes will probably to enough time to see everyone again.
Plus, the film's 14 years old and it's never a great idea to do a sequel to a film over 10 years old just look at what happened to Dumb and Dumber 2 and Zoolander 2.
Tomorrow night can't come sooner and I'll likely cry.
The mini-sequel will be aired on BBC One on Red Nose Day.
