Godzilla 2 Will Feature Three Iconic Monster Villains & It Sounds F*CKING AWESOME

Following the successes of 2014’s Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island this March, the next story in the Warner Bros and Legendary MonsterVerse Godzilla: King of the Monsters is officially filming.

We also got an official synopsis and it sounds F*CKING AWESOME and it also revealed some surprises as our favourite giant lizard will be fighting three iconic monsters.

Godzilla is set to do battle against other giant kaiju Rodan, Mothra and the three-headed King Ghidorah and it seems like the world is going to be on its knees following the battle between these “good-sized monsters”.

The official synopsis reads as such: “The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah.

“When these ancient super-species – thought to be mere myths – rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”

The upcoming sequel will feature Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring films), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’s Zhang Ziyi, Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), O’Shea Jackson from Straight Outta Compton and plenty more.

Krampus director Michael Doughtery will be handling Godzilla’s return for this massive battle and the will be co-writing the script with Zach Shields and Max Borenstein.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2019, and this will be followed up by Godzilla vs Kong (currently in the works) is to come to the big screen on 29th May 2020.
