The Saturday during San Diego Comic Con is always a special day for all the nerds are this mega event. As Warner Bros kick off the day in the morning and show of their DC Films, meanwhile Marvel Studios always close off the afternoon/evening.
It has come to the point where it’s become a friendly rivalry between the studios are their comic book properties and this year’s no different. After "winning" the past two SDCC's, WB is bringing a strong line-up to dominate again. However, never count out Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios.
This year looks like to be a huge year from the MCU as their Hall H presentation will be 90 minutes of announcements, surprises, panels and according to Germain Lussier of io9 Twitter that this panel could be more of a celebration and it’s Marvel Studios’ 10th anniversary next year.
Also, because people are asking, I've heard the Marvel panel will largely be a celebration of their upcoming 10 yr anniversary.— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) 8 July 2017
With this in mind, they could give fans inside Hall H some super special surprises like last year with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok.
So What Could We Expect?
- Thor: Ragnarok is coming out in November, so they’ll be a full panel and brand new trailer, which will be released online.
- Black Panther is the next Marvel film to be released in February 2018. To help promote the film a full panel could/should happen and while they only released a teaser trailer last month, a full trailer could happen but unlikely.
- Feige will reveal the special logo for the 10 years of the MCU that he’s been teasing and this will be released online.
- News about the title for Spider-Man: Homecoming 2, a teaser poster for Avengers: Infinity War with a new plot and some (maybe the full) cast will ensemble on stage. Additionally, info on Ant-Man and The Wasp and Captain Marvel.
The next couple of things will be exclusive to people within Hall H:
- Special first look at Avengers: Infinity War.
- First look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.
- Full clip from Black Panther.
