It looks like Daniel Craig is fully coming back to play James Bond one more time and could he be directed by Christopher Nolan?
After famously voicing his disdain to return to the character after during press junkets for Spectre back in 2015 where he said he’d “rather slash [his] wrist” then come back to play 007.
Those set off people’s thoughts about a new Bond coming in to replace Craig with Idris Elba, Aidan Turner, Tom Hardy and James Norton being the top names tipped for the role. However, reports suggest Craig has "changed his mind" and is returning to finish his final film of his five film contract and it looks like he’s going to honour it and get a massive pay day too.
According to The Mirror, filming for Bond 25 begins next year with a release date aimed for the end of 2018 and producer Barbara Broccoli is also wants to get Adele back to sing the theme for Bond 25.
It’s a smart move for the Broccoli’s to do as combo’s previous work Skyfall grossed $1.1 billion at the worldwide box office and Adele won a Grammy, Brit Award and an Oscar with her theme for Skyfall and Broccoli is said to be “talking the singer round.”
With Craig returning and possibly the theme song seemingly sorted out, the next (and most important) thing for the Broccoli’s to do is to find a director.

Christopher Nolan’s name has been in the mix for years and the director admitted to Playboy, “I’ve spoken to the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson over the years.
“I deeply love the character, and I’m always excited to see what they do with it. Maybe one day that would work out. You’d have to be needed, if you know what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you. And they’re getting along very well” added the Dark Knight helmer.
