As of Today, it’s three days of nerd Christmas with San Diego Comic Con official beginning.
The luckiest of cosplayers and general geeks will be the envy of many people at home as we keep a close eye on all the news and trailers that come out and we’re expecting a bit.
DC Comics kicked off the convention last night’s Preview night where they showed off the costumes from Justice League and the brand new Batmobile. Additionally, the films action figures were also revealed.
So What Can We Expect?
Thursday
Fox
20th Century Fox has the honour to kick off Hall H in the morning from 11:30am – 12:30pm PST time (6:30pm – 7:30pm GMT) and it’s worth keeping an eye out for trailers and images and news from their X-Men franchise.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the big film Fox will be promoting and they’ve made their impact felt with special Comic Con posters and holding an event at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, where they’ll be serving Poppy Burger (based on the film’s villain) during happy hour.

Besides the outside event, in Hall H they’ll be hosting a panel which will have some of the cast including Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges and Pedro Pascal and they’ll be joined by screenwriter Jane Goldman.
Alongside the panel, fully expect a new full trailer.
X-Men
It’s highly unlikely any footage from current shooting X-Men films – Deadpool 2 and New Mutants.
However, I do believe we’ll get to see the first images of Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino and I think fans inside Hall H will get an exclusive video with Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool and maybe some concept art.

Meanwhile, with production only beginning last week, we maybe not get a lot from New Mutants. Yet I do think we’ll see the first images of the cast and they’ll likely be a quick exclusive video from director Josh Boone for fans in Hall H just to talking briefly about the film.
Finally, maybe expect the full cast announcement for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
We also might get news about the six untitled Marvel films they have slated something like X-Force and maybe, just maybe, Fantastic Four.
Netflix
Netflix will also be hosting a Hall H panel in the afternoon focusing on David Ayer’s fantasy cop film, Bright and Death Note will be making its mark too.
Bright
The streaming service will probably release the first trailer for the action-thriller and they’re also having a panel, which will have some of the cast including Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry and Edger Ramirez plus Ayer himself.
Death Note
Since the trailer has already been released and the film coming out in a matter of weeks. The panel for the highly popular manga will be more a fan service thing with the cast and filmmaker talking about their experience and take questions from the audience.
Netflix is also closing the first day with a screening of Death Note in the evening with giveaways and expect to hear reaction on Twitter Friday Morning GMT.

LEGO Ninjago Movie
The next instalment in the world of LEGO gets its own panel with cast and filmmakers and expect to see a new trailer.
Friday
Friday is fully dominated by TV, so don’t expect a lot but still, keep an eye out for a few things.
Young Justice Q&A
The highly popular animated series is back (thanks to fans on Social Media) and they’ll be having a Q&A at 10:00am – 11:00am PST (5:00pm – 6:00pm GMT) and they could reveal some awesome info about the third season Young Justice: Outsiders with maybe some concept art and I’m hoping we hear some more news about this DC digital service.

The Walking Dead
I don’t know if this show is popular in the UK (or outside the US in general) but The Walking Dead have their own panel with the cast including Andrew Lincoln and Jeffery Dean Morgan and they’ll probably show a trailer for season 8, but I don’t know.

Game of Thrones
With season 7 already beginning, this panel will most likely be fan service talking about the premiere episode with Sophie Turner and Gwendoline Christie attending.

Netflix: Marvel’s The Defenders
With the series coming out in less than four weeks, Marvel’s The Defenders have their own panel with the cast and they’ll not only get fans excited with a brand new trailer but also I can see them bringing out Punisher himself Jon Bethnal to reveal the first teaser trailer.

This panel will most likely win Friday.
Saturday
Now we get to the two biggest players at SDCC with Warner Bros kicking off the day and Marvel Studios closing the day. In the past two years, WB has won the friendly rivalry with their DC movie trailers like Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman and Justice League.
Can Marvel make a fantastic comeback? Or is Warner Bros/DC win again?
Warner Bros
From 11:30am – 1:30pm PST (6:30pm – 8:30pm GMT) Warner Bros are bringing the big guns to Hall H.

Blade Runner 2049
With the trailer just recently coming out, I expect the Blade Runner 2049 panel to be more of a fan treat with the cast including Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford as well as director Denis Villeneuve.
Ready, Player, One
Now Steven Spielberg’s Ready, Player, One could be the surprise hit of the whole convention with the panel including cast members Tye Sheridan, Oliva Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn and T.J. Miller as well as the legend himself director Spielberg.

Fully expect images and defiantly a teaser trailer.
Justice League, Aquaman and DC Films
Meanwhile, DC Films will have a massive presents over this presentation. Firstly, we’re getting a Justice League panel including Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher talking about the film.

| IMAGE VIA CLAY ENOS/ WARNER BROS |
Fans inside Hall H will likely get a video message from stand-in director Joss Wheldon, but I’m also keeping my fingers crossed Zack Snyder will make a surprise appearance.
It goes without saying we’re getting a new trailer revealing the villain Steppenwolf and maybe a little, tiny tease of Superman.
We can expect official cast images from Aquaman, especially Momoa’s Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master/Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. People in Hall H will also be treated to an early look at concept art and probably some footage (which could hit online).
When it comes to news, we’re expecting a release date for Wonder Woman 2 and Patty Jenkins confirming to return. Hopefully confirmation on directors for The Flash, Man of Steel 2 (plus release date), Suicide Squad 2 and maybe Justice League Dark.
Plus some casting and news on Matt Reeves’ untitled Batman.
Stranger Things 2
Netflix pops up again this time as a cool down act in Hall H with Stranger Things 2 and it’ll have a panel plus an official trailer.

Marvel Studios
Finally, Comic Con will be coming to an end (no one cares about Sunday) with Marvel Studios celebrating 10-years as the biggest player in the comic book/ superhero genre and they probably do some big things.
They have 90 minutes from 5:30pm - 7:00pm PST (12:30am - 2:00am GMT) to play with to give fans a real treat.

Thor: Ragnarok & Black Panther
With Thor: Ragnarok coming out in November, a full panel and a brand new trailer will be released.
Black Panther could also get a panel as it’s coming out in February 2018, fans inside Hall H will get an exclusive look at some footage.
Avengers: Infinity War & News
Due to the massive buzz from D23, Kevin Feige HAS to show this trailer to not only fans inside Hall H, but also to the millions of fans worldwide and, depending on how the Justice League trailer and Aquaman does, this will win the whole SDCC 2017. I think the full 30 plus cast will come on stage too and do a quick panel.

When it comes to news, probably first look images from Ant-Man and the Wasp and the full cast as Walton Goggins has joined the cast. A title for Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 maybe and news on Captain Marvel and possibly the first look at Brie Larson in costume with some casting announcements.
