Last week, Ryan Reynolds revealed the first look at Zazie Beetz as Domino in Deadpool 2.
Now the Merc with the Mouth is at it again this time giving fans their first look at Josh Brolin as the “grumpy uncle” of the Deadpool sequel, Cable.

This is an awesome first look at Cable and damn Brolin looks good when he’s not big and purple and carrying a massive golden glove.
It wasn’t just the fans who were excited, but Robert Liefeld, the man who created this time-traveller back in 1990 with Louise Simonson, spoke his praise to The Hollywood Reporter.
“This is a great! No one is having a better day than me! Let me assure you!”
THR then caught up with Deadpool 2 actor Stefan Kapicic, who returns as Colossus, gave his reaction to the first time seeing Brolin in costume and he tried not to give any spoilers away.
“This is just the beginning of amazing things that are coming.
“Cable is one of the characters I was raised with. Cable’s face, with all the scars and the eye and the haircut. It’s like I’m seeing the comic book Cable.”

Following these two images in back to back weeks, I’m hoping to see something like a group image of Colossus, Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead together again like a family photo. Or maybe the first look at the film’s villain?
Either way, if we don’t get anything the fact we finally get to see Beetz and Brolin in costume and look awesomely badass is a win for all of us.
Deadpool 2 hits UK cinemas 1st June 2018.
