There’s no stopping Millie Bobby Brown as the world is her mind as she’s set to star as Sherlock Holmes younger sister.

It’s been revealed the 13-year-old actress will be taking time away from the Upside Down to bring the stories of The Enola Holmes Mysteries, novels by Nancy Springer’s novels to life and will focus on the adventures of the teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes.

According to Deadline, Brown will not only star in the title role but has also penned the deal to produce the films that will focus on Enola who’s trying to break out from under the shadow of her famous sibling. The British star will become Hollywood's youngest ever producer.

Legendary will be making the films with the hopes of having a franchise as Nancy Springer wrote six books and contains a number of characters that crossover from Conan Doyle books including Enola’s older brother Mycroft, Dr Watson and police inspector Lestrade.

This could be a smart move by both Legendary and Brown as this could fill that Nancy Drew gap and something families can go together who love the BBC One show but feel it’s too adult for their kids and could be a role model for girls.

Millie Bobby previously worked with Legendary on her forthcoming feature film debut Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the British star will also reprise her role as Eleven in the third season of Netflix’s mega-hit Stranger Things, which won’t be airing until sometime next year.
