Production for Wonder Woman 2 is ramping up, but despite what people are saying on social media it HAS NOT begun filming just yet.
Yesterday, I reached out to my source who's working close to the production to ask if it was true after originally getting excited, doubt set in as this Monday (28th May) was a bank holiday in the UK and memorial day in the US, meaning everyone in both countries had the day off apart from those who work in public sector and hospitality.

What’s going on? Patty Jenkins has previously said shooting will start “shockingly soon” and that it is true as my source has told me it’s in prep and we will know when filming for the DC superhero sequel as Warner Bros will be releasing a “start of production release.”
We already know the Gal Gadot is reteaming with her Wonder Woman and Jenkins confirmed Kristen Wiig will be playing the villain Cheetah. Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal has joined in a mysterious role (which I’m hoping we won’t find out who until the film is released).
So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can't wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!! @GalGadot pic.twitter.com/Gn0jICiIAH— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) 9 March 2018
Elsewhere, even though he’s dead, Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor is rumoured to be returning and hopefully, we’ll return to Themyscira to see Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielson) and all the Amazons.
Finally, during this year’s Cinema Con in Las Vegas Jenkins confirmed the film will be in the 1980s but not if the Cold War is involved.

Its likely filming will begin on the first Monday in June, so maybe keep an eye out around the 4th and we’ll get some of the plot and full cast list.
