If you’ve just read the headline and thought “am I on meth?”, don’t worry you’re not it’s actually happening. Bryan Cranston has signed up to star in the upcoming Power Rangers movie.
Cranston confirmed the news on Twitter and he’ll be playing
Zordon, a giant floating head and is a mentor to the alien battling team.

Ironically, the six-time Emmy winner is no stranger to franchise
as he provided voices for many of the villains in the 90s TV show including
Twinman and the classic Snizzard. He was such an influence to the show; the
original Blue Ranger was called Billy Cranston.
Excited to play #Zordon in the #PowerRangersMovie! T or F: #BlueRanger Billy Cranston was named after what actor? https://t.co/d3ltjpcDKb— Bryan Cranston (@BryanCranston) 21 June 2016
He joins a cast made up of Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa and five relative unknown newcomers (RJ Cyler, Becky G, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin and Dacre Montgomery) as the Rangers.
Also check out the teaser poster (because that's a thing now) of Power Rangers. To be honest, it's nothing special just five shadowy people and looking at the stars with the outline of the Rangers logo.
