Do you really think The Rock, the king of Smackdown, regrets calling his Fast 8 co-stars “candy asses”?
Of course not! He’s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, bitch. He doesn't have to sorry to anyone.
While we never knew who the “candy asses” Johnson was referring to (say it quietly, but it might’ve been Vin Diesel), but he didn’t want to stop there, calling some of his male co-stars “chicken shit.”
In an interview with the LA Times, Johnson was asked about those comments replying “I was very clear with what I said. I’ve been in the game a long time.
“Would Universal (Pictures) have preferred that didn’t happen? Sure, we talked about it."
“The irony is after that, and as they do their tracking and all their analysis, the interest shot through the roof to a whole other level” he added.
As previously said above, speculation suggested he was talking about Diesel in the Instagram post, but people also thought it was the beginning of a feud between the two to promote a future wrestling match.

If that was ever the case, Johnson would’ve killed Diesel in the ring.
Whatever was behind the post, Johnson did get a lot of publicity for Fast 8, during when no one was talking about it. The film will star Charlize Theron as villain Cipher and Scott Eastwood, as well as Game of Thrones star Natalie Emmanuel who’s returning as hacker Ramsey.
Fast 8 will be speeding into UK cinemas on April 14, 2017.
