The Shaun Wren Blog: DC Universe Is About To Take Over San Diego Comic Con!

We’re only a week away from San Diego Comic Con and after getting fans pumped for their new streaming service, DC Universe is confirmed to be there and they’re going to possibly not only blow your fucking socks off but be the highlight of the week for many fans and geeks.

As revealed in their press release, the “first-of-its-kind digital subscription service designed especially for DC fans, will come to life with over half a dozen immersive, interactive experiences at Comic-Con International.”

Not only will fans get a chance to get immerse within the DC Universe for the first time and the first lucky bastards from the public to experience what this streaming service will have for us.

Across the four days, fans will be able to walk around the original, classic and comics that will be available through the digital service and interact with dozens of activities and installations.

These will include:

Explore Dick Grayson’s Titans loft and uncover clues to his whereabouts.
Experience the mysterious creations of Dr. Niles Caulder in the Doom Patrol lab.
Avoid succumbing to the deadly virus in the mystical swamps of Swamp Thing.
Join earth’s newest superhero team in the Young Justice Watchtower.
Create mayhem in the Harley Quinn chaos room.
Step into the sewers with Batman and descend into madness in The Court of Owls.
Enjoy the first public unveiling of rare artwork and memorabilia only previously seen in exclusive engagements.
Discover hidden clues and get an exclusive first-look at the DC UNIVERSE digital subscription service.
And so much more….

It’s important for me to state you need to go here – DCUniverseExperience.com and register and once you have done and get to San Diego, head to the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, directly across the street from the convention centre.

You should really sign up online as this will allow you to get a streamline the onsite admission process, but pre-registration doesn’t allow you to reserve or bypass the line so don’t be a dick skip the line as its first-come, first-serve.

Elsewhere, with the experience happening, there’s got to be a DC Universe is got to have a panel and presentation, well I bloody hope so!

If they do, I won’t be surprised if we get trailers to both Young Justice: Outsiders and Titans that go online at the same time. As well as maybe casting for the voice of Harley Quinn and the Swamp Thing TV series introduced by James Wan. If they were smart, give fans in attendance a look at the first episode of either show.
