The Official Title And Release Date Of Harley Quinn's Birds Of Prey Has Been Revealed

Last night Margot Robbie revealed the official title for the upcoming Harley Queen led Birds of Prey movie and we also got an official release date.

The title for the DC Films project is incredibly long, even a little pretentious and fits the tongue-in-cheek characteristic of Quinn and I utterly love it.

Robbie, who is also the film’s producer, unveiled the front page of Christina Hodson’s on Instagram with the Aussies handwritten addition and the title is Birds Of Prey And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Queen.

Again, yes this is the official title confirmed by Warner Bros. However, let's be honest we'll be calling it Birds of Prey with Harley Quinn.

(Yes being dyslexic I had to Google what two of these words mean and how to pronounce them).

As well as the title the studio also confirmed the film will be coming to cinemas on February 7, 2020.

The DC movie will be R-rated and star Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez is Reene Montoya, Ella Jay Basco will star as Cassandra Cain and finally, Ewan McGregor has joined the cast as the villainous Black Mask.

Cathy Yan is directing the movie which is set to begin shooting in January.
