It’s regarding as one of the greatest family films ever made and to celebrate its 30th Anniversary Studiocanal are releasing a limited edition collection of My Neighbour Totoro that’ll including brand new exclusive artwork and holographic numbers.
Additionally, a 176-page hardback book of The Art Of My Neighbour Totoro, the box set of art cards, 16x24 poster of the original Japanese theatrical artwork, premium heavy cotton tote bag, a magnetic sticker and a My Neighbour Totoro notebook.
Oddly enough, this is a film I’ve never seen before so I jumped at the chance to review this icon of Studio Ghibli.
As their mother recovers from an illness, sisters Satsuki and Mei (Dakota and Elle Fanning) to get away from it they move to the countryside and find and mysterious and magical place filled with spirits and strike a friendship with the Totoro woodland creatures.
This was everything people have told me and glad I found out myself as My Neighbour Totoro was an utter delight with Miyazaki’s beautiful hand-drawn artwork that has made Studio Ghibli the envy of the animation world with millions of fans.

The story is completely beautiful and a surprise with less of the fluffy Totoro that originally thought (maybe because 13 minutes have been cut from the original film) but when you realise the mysterious creature comes when the sisters need it handling themes of love and possible future lost perfectly by letting children watch without worry and hopefully handle these issues if/whenever it comes to them.
As for the Satsuki and Mei, they actually acted like kids they’re sometimes delightful, imaginative and innocent but also a pain in the arse.
