It’s nearly been a decade since The Simpsons Movie hit our cinema screens (badly hell I feel old), now one of the show’s producers is talking about the possibilities of a sequel.
*fingers crossed Spider-Pig makes a cameo*
While talking to LRM Online (I don’t know who they are either), executive producer James L Brooks (you’ll 100% know who he is as his name flashes across your screen at the beginning credits in every episode) was asked if was any possibility of the most famous TV family makes a return to the big screen.

It seems the ball is firmly in their court, “Fox very much wants us to do another one, and maybe we will and maybe we won’t – that’s where it is” replied, Brooks.
He added “How do we divide our labours, and do we believe in the idea we have? We may go into a more active exploration of a second movie soon.”
The original film came out in 2007, making over $500 million at the worldwide box office and if I remember it wasn’t that great and the seasons have dipped since season six. However, I wouldn’t say no to the idea of seeing The Simpsons back on the big screen.
