After months of rumours and speculation, Janelle Monae and Kerry Washington being the most recent, Ryan Reynolds has finally revealed who will be playing Domino in Deadpool 2.
It came as a surprise as Reynolds used his trademark Deadpool wit and trolling on Twitter on Thursday (9th March) sharing a photo of a domino board that spelt out the actresses name and like me were having a little issue working it out.

It reveals the relative newcomer and Atlanta star Zazie Beetz has secured the role of Domino.
The merc with the mouth went on to Twitter again to celebrate the news of the relatively unknown actress landing this huge role in the X-Universe.

Just in case you don’t know who Domino is, she’s a powerful mutant who can shape her own and others’ probability with her will.
Also if you didn’t catch the Fox comedy/drama Atlanta, I suggest checking it out it’s only like 10 episodes with each episode half-an-hour and they’re brilliant mainly because of Donald Glover and Brian Tyree Henry, but Beetz is also great.

Domino’s abilities have made her an important member of X-Force alongside Deadpool and his time travelling buddy Cable.

Speaking of Cable, he too will be in the Deadpool sequel and rumours about his casting has been around the internet and social media with the previous speculation suggesting a number of names. Most recently they including Russell Crowe, Ron Perlman, Kyle Chandler and former 007 Pierce Brosnan.
There were reports last week that said Fox were looking at Stringer Things star David Harbour after he screen tested for them.

Deadpool isn’t secluded to come out until 2018.
