Tom Hardy Pens Heartbreaking Beautiful Tribute To His "Bestest Friend Ever" Woody

A couple of days ago, Tom Hardy posted an emotional message and tribute to his “bestest friend ever” and rescue dog Woodstock, aka Woody, who has sadly passed away.

The beautiful Golden Labrador was always by Hardy’s side, having a cameo in Peaky Blinders, came along and stole the hearts of everyone on the red carpet of 2015’s Legend and he also appeared on CBeebies Bedtime Story next to Hardy.

Fun fact – Woody was voted the 73rd most influential animal in Time magazine beating JAWS.

I was lucky to catch a gimps of Woody during a screening of Legend as Hardy came out a surprised the guests and critics and it was clear no one was listening to the 39-year-old actor as he talked about his film, as Woody stole all the limelight.

The Dark Knight Rises star penned a heartfelt message on Tumblr, which you should give a read yourself and shed at least a tear for a dog you’ve never met.

Talking about how he met him during the filming of Lawless in Atlanta and how he became part of the family and his “special bro”.

The Oscar-nominated actor signed off the heartbreaking post saying, “Thankyou Woody for choosing to find us. We will love you and be with you and you with us forever. Never ever ever forgotten. Your Boy tom xxx

“I love you beyond words. To the moon and back again and again to Infinity and beyond. Run with Max [Tom’s former dog] now and the Angels. I will see you when I get there.

“With all of me, I love you. Always Thank you, for your love beautiful boy.”
