The Hollywood Reporter have exclusively reported the three
young actors all took tests, whether or not they were costume or screening
tests, in London last weekend.
The names involved include Alden Ehrenreich, who stole the screen in Hail, Caesar!; Jack Reynor, who’s best known for Transformers: Age of Extinction, and Taron Egerton, the breakout star of the surprise blockbuster Kingsman: The Secret Service and upcoming Eddie The Eagle.

I concur on Mr @Borys_Kit list HAN SOLO LIST and you can also add Blake Jenner and Jack O'Connell's name to the list as well— Justin Kroll (@krolljvar) 15 March 2016
THR reported back in Decemeber that Disney cast the net wide to find the right young actor to fit Harrison Ford’s leather jacket. But if you’re missing your Ford fix then not to worry as he’ll be appearing in the fifth movie set for release in 2019.
after watching SING STREET at Sundance I believe @jackreynor can pull off young Han Solo.— Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) 15 March 2016
So, yes, let's hope he gets the Han role...— Emma Thrower (@iamnotwaynegale) 15 March 2016
My favourite choice is Egerton; I really loved him in Kingsman and in his smaller role in Legend starring next to Tom Hardy.
