First Look at Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it's incredible

The first look into Star Wars spin off Rogue One has been released and it’s AWESOME!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of how a group of rebels come together to steal the plans to the Death Star. The same plans Princess Leia stored in R2-D2’s memory bank back in 1977. 

This isn't apart of The Force Awakens, so you won't be seeing Rey, Finn, BB8 or Kylo Ren.

Felicity Jones will be our focal point, in the trailer and probably the whole film, and is a rebel from the beginning and many of her crimes include aggravated assault and resisting arrest. The biggest surprised for fans is seeing Mon Mothma, leader of the rebels, who describe her as “reckless, aggressive and undisciplined.”

We also got a look at Ben Mendelsohn’s crisp white imperial suit and cape. No one knows who he’s playing, but I guarantee he’s going to be a terrific villain and I have no doubt diehard Star Wars fans have some better idea who he is.

Joining Jones and Mendelsohn is Diego Luna, Donnie Yan (who looks badass), Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forrest Whitaker. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla., Monsters).

Oh, I forgot to add, you may not have heard him, but Darth Vader is also in this film.
