The Flash Actively
Casting
After making a major impact in Batman v Superman: Dawn of
Justice, Ezra Miller will be starring as Barry Allen/The Flash in his
standalone which is set for release March 16, 2018. Heroic Hollywood’s Editor –
in – Chief Umberto Gonzalez have found out talent agencies for five major
character roles.

These characters include Iris West, Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash, Len Snart aka Captain Cold, Fred Chyre and Jay Garrick. To make sure the fans of the TV show have a reason for the film to be made and bring these characters involved, so I’ve thought of a few names.

The one thing the DCCU has done well was casting Amy Adams as Lois Lane, so they need to do the same with Iris and two actresses who could that is Emma Watson and Oscar winner Brie Larson. Both will add weight to the character and the other reason for Watson is she and Miller have previous chemistry with The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
As for the other characters, Eddie Redmayne would be an ideal Thawne/Reverse Flash and again he and Miller worked together in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. As for the three other characters I have no idea who could play Chyre, Snart and Garrick.

More Than One Green Lantern Coming To The Big Screen
Even though the Green Lantern Corps film is still five
years, recent rumours have been revealed and if they turn out to be true, it
looks like Warner Bros will be looking to bring multiple lanterns from Earth to
the big screen.
According to sources at Latino Review, the studio is looking
for someone who’s Matt Damon’s age (wink, wink) to play Hal Jordan. While the
other two lanterns include John Stewart and Kyle Rayner, who will be younger.

My pick for Stewart would be Nate Parker, who directed, written
and produced a possible Oscar contender The Birth of a Nation, and I don’t know
much about Rayner.
The other reason is because Parker could help with the script and the behind the camera stuff and I want Geoff Johns come on to write the script as his New 52 comic run made the character popular again.

Other News
Suicide Squad is only a few months away and merchandise is
slowly taking steam and US retailer Barnes and Nobles are releasing a 16 months
calender (because that’s a thing) but it did give us a new image and also got
another new image of Deadshot and Harley Quinn.

Finally, Jason Momoa took to Instagram to show off his ripped body as well as going to Leavesden to check out the Justice League set. While Henry Cavill to show off his new bearded look and also thanked fans for their continued support.
