This past week had a lot of DC Film news mainly focusing on the next film coming out of the DCU, Suicide Squad, and there was a crap ton of Justice league news as journalists were able to visit the set and report on what they saw.

and look at some new poster click here.
Justice League
As previously stated several journalists visited the set of
Justice League and I posted a quick rundown from the plot and the films big bad
to the change of tone and Ezra Miller’s Flash being the comic relief and again
click here to check it out.

However, that wasn’t the only thing we learnt a lot more
from the set visit, and it has to be said this was only day 31 of a 111 day
shoot and Warner Bros showed what they wanted them to see, for example they saw
a lot of concept art in the war room.
The big stuff to take away from the war room is that Batman
is getting a brand new suit(s) and The Flash will be getting an upgrade from
Wayne Tech, similar to Spider-Man in Captain America Civil War. They also saw
two new vehicles, one was called the Knightclawer which is a tank of sorts, but
has four legs that come out and climbs up buildings and the other was the Flying
Fox an aircraft which can carry the whole Justice League and the brand new
Batmobile.

The Journalist were also lucky enough to talk to the cast
and while talking to Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot talked about the dynamic of
the upcoming superhero team-up saying “I think we've found a very very
interesting dynamic. I think it's fun, it’s funny, it's different, uh, each and
every character brings their own flavour and colour to the team, and for me,
you know, personally, it's really fun to play with them, it felt great,
they're talented, and I'm having a great time."
The big word to take from this is “funny” and as someone who
doesn’t mind the darker tone the DCU has taken, it would be nice to smile and
chuckle as well as Batman v Superman did go a bit too far in the bleakness.
Gadot also talked about the difference between the character
in her solo film and in Justice League. "(laughs), she's kind of uh
bipolar, uh no, she's well, the Wonder Woman we see in the Justice League is
similar to the Wonder Woman that we saw in BVS. The Wonder Woman that we see in
the solo movie, uh, she's different. It's the coming of age story. It's, you
know, about her becoming an adult, her journey from child to adult and
understanding the complexities of life."
I geeked out hearing this news last week, and trying to get
as much info as possible and by the sounds of these reports Warner Bros have
listen to not only the critics that ripped BvS to shreds, but also the fans and
even though it probably hurt Zack Snyder’s feelings it was for the best so now he’s
fired up to deliver a Justice League film that people love.

Suicide Squad
Justice League wasn’t the only DC Film doing the rounds as a
load of character posters came out as well as two awesome music videos and if
you want to find out who is on the tracklist and two new film posters click here.
Warner Bros are really marketing Suicide Squad differently
compared to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman as with so much bright, acid
dripping colours as seen in these posters below.
I personally don’t like these posters they’re just a bit everywhere
for me, but I do like these character posters with a simple dark, diluted tone
and the actors look great in costume so big up to the design department at WB
and photographer Clay Enos. Here are a few examples and if you want to view them all, Batman News has all 11 posters.

The other thing the WB marketing department has done as some of today’s biggest music artists and bands and made an album and the music seems to fit the tone of the film as they’ve done music videos for the film, something that’s rare nowadays and these two songs are different and I like them both.
Heathers by Twenty One Pilots and Sucker For Pain by Lil
Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons (with Logic, Ty Dolla $ign & X
Ambassadors) were dope and I might have to listen to more Logic. Check them both
out below.
Even though there were only two films to talk about, there
was plenty to cover and if you want to keep up to date with what’s happening in
the world of DC Films follow me on Twitter @Shaun_Wren.
