During E3, the biggest convention for all things video games and consoles, which is taking place in LA, Ubisoft unveiled a behind the scenes look at Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender.
In this BTS we got a better understanding and look at the
film adaptation of this highly successful game, with Fassbender and director
Justin Kurzel talking about the project and we see more amazing action.
Check out the video here.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
Even though this film as got some serious competition in
December in the shape of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, I’m excited to see it and despite Warcraft not doing so great outside of China, where it is smash hit. Assassin’s Creed is such an original idea for a film,
people will be interested to see it.
Plus, having a great cast helps led by Fassbender and
includes Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), Jeremy Irons (Batman v
Superman), Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter) and Michael Kenneth Williams
(Boardwalk Empire).
