Deadpool 3 Already In The Works At 20th Century Fox And Will Feature X-Force

It looks like losing director Tim Miller hasn’t stopped 20th Century Fox plans to continue Deadpool’s future.

Filming for the sequel hasn’t even begun and Fox is still looking for someone new to helm the project, but The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the studio is already planning Deadpool 3 as a launching pad for X-Force.

 

What is X-Force? They’re a team of militant mutant protection founded by time travelling mutant Cable to eliminate potential threats to gifted people by any means necessary.

Appearing in the third Deadpool film would make sense, the post-credits in the original film said Cable would be in the sequel. Now a sequel is on the way with Cable and Domino involved and including Deadpool, you have three members of X-Force right there.

So including the other members of the team in Deadpool 3 means we can learn more about the group and characters before an X-Force film.

All this planning will have to stay on the table until the studio and Ryan Reynolds find the right director to continue the story as production is rumoured to be starting around March next year.
