As it’s always the way on Saturday at San Diego Comic Con in Hall H, Warner Bros/DC Films kick off the day with a bang and in the evening belongs to Marvel Studios to give fans the greatest experience possible.
Marvel made sure all 6,000 plus strong crowd left with a smile on their face and were repaid for their day long hunger and lack of sleep.
The Marvel panel was happening as most Brits/ the world was asleep was waking up to this news was pretty awesome.
Thor: Ragnarok
Let’s being with Thor: Ragnarok and the awesomeness of that trailer and this trailer along with the dope new poster has gotten me super excited to see this film (only the second this has happened for an MCU movie).

Not get me wrong, the first trailer helped but I felt it was too much similar to Guardians of the Galaxy and this time around this felt more like a Taika Waititi directed Thor film.
The director is the main reason why I’m excited. Then the massive added bonus of Cate Blanchett’s Hera, the god of death, and I think Marvel has another strong, scary villain on their hands.
Furthermore, I’m in love with Tessa Thompson so she’s also another reason and she looks awesome!
Additionally, the stuff with Hulk at the end is dope too. Check out the trailer below.
Black Panther
By the sounds of things, the Hall H exclusive footage Marvel showed of a casino stakeout gone wrong from Black Panther “won Comic Con.”
This footage got a standing ovation from the crowd and it’s easy to see why the description of the footage has gotten me even more excited and cements why this is my most anticipated Marvel film of 2018.
If you want to read the full description from the footage and points from the panel, check out Collider, they’ve done a brilliant job.
For the second time in a row, following Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel has another brilliant poster.

Captain Marvel
While still being far away from even starting filming, the favourite part of Marvel’s Hall H presentation was the news about Captain Marvel.
Marvel Studios revealed Captain Marvel will be taking place in the 1990s, way before Tony Stark launched the MCU and the world of Superheroes. This is what I wanted to see from Marvel (following Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther) is doing something different.
The concept art of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel looks amazing and I can’t wait to see the first official image.

Because it’s set in the 90s and will star Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, will likely see some de-aging to make him look younger and we’ll also see him without the eye patch and have two working eyes. Before probably losing it in this film.
Furthermore, it’s interesting what sort of person this younger Fury is.
Meanwhile, we also learnt the villains will Marvel famous alien race – the Skrulls. This is super interesting for the current and future of the MCU before the Skrulls are serious opponents of the Marvel heroes and their most notable ability is to shapeshift.

So could some of the Avengers be actually Skrulls? I think after Infinity War, Secret Wars will be the next massive event these future MCU films will be heading towards.
Captain Marvel is set to open in the US and UK on March 8, 2019.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
We got some casting news for Ant-Man and the Wasp.
BREAKING: 'ANT-MAN AND THE WASP' logo and art revealed! #MarvelSDCC pic.twitter.com/lYu5h9fD53— Comic Fade @ #SDCC (@ComicFade) 23 July 2017
Former Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer has joined the cast as Janet Van Dyne – the original Wasp and wife to original Ant-Man Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and mum to new Wasp Hope Pym (Evangeline Lilly).
Pfeiffer is joined by Lawrence Fisher, who will play scientist Bill Foster.
Relative unknown Marvel villain The Ghost played by Black Mirror star Hannah John-Kaman.
They also showed an exclusive teaser trailer to the audience.
Avengers: Infinity War
Similar to D23 last week, Marvel Studio showed off the allegedly incredible Avengers: Infinity War trailer to the Hall H crowd and have yet to post it online.
If it’s because of the VFX then I get it because they’ll likely show the world when Thor: Ragnarok, but I think they’ll have to do it sooner as people will leak it online.
