Michael Bay Producing Dora The Explorer Live-Action Movie

It seems like ruining the childhoods of the 80s and 90s kids with his directed and produced Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies weren't enough, Michael Bay has now moved to ruining the childhood of many young kids who grew up with Dora the Explorer.

That’s right! The Bay man himself is going to produce a live-action movie version of Dora the Explorer under his Platinum Dunes production banner at Paramount Pictures. What has the poor girl ever done to you Mikey? She taught toddlers words, numbers and a little bit of Spanish.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals writer-director Nick Stoller will be helming the project and he does have experience with family films including The Muppets, but as also handled raunchy teen comedy Neighbors.

Details of the movie are being kept close to the chest, but this live-action film will have Dora has a teenager (not the 7-year-old like in the popular TV show) who moves to the city with her cousin Diego.

Bay is well known to “bring the sexy” to his film like look at the actresses who have appeared in the bollocks that’s called the Transformers movies – Megan Fox, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Nicola Peltz and Laura Haddock.

Now with Dora being a teenager, it makes scenes, it leaves a weird taste in the mouth because you know the young actress will have to wear the orange shorts. Diego will be ripped and I bet she’ll be taking on terrorism with plenty of explosions (because it’s Michael Bay).

I wouldn’t be surprised if they cast Isabela Moner, who played Izabella in Transformers: The Last Knight, as Dora and Diego, will be played by some kid on Nickelodeon or Disney Channel.
