After months of unknowing, we finally got an inside what we could expect from the DC Universe streaming service and you can find out more info about why this “one of the kind" service is going to make me poor here.
As well as all the exciting things the top appeal for fans will be the new (and returning) and exclusive TV shows and we also got the official synopsis for all the shows.

“Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.”
I was already excited for Titans, but now the fact the synopsis confirms it’s going to be a dark and gritty take and add the new images of Brenton Thwaites’ Robin I have a feeling if the series matches the pictures then I won’t be surprised if it becomes connected to the DCU films.

Additionally, I love that Raven will be a major character in the series and it seems her father Trigon will be the big bad and I look forward to seeing Grayson finding a new family.
Spinning off from Titans will be Doom Patrol and it seems like the synopsis is going to be much different from Titans and will be much more of a comedy and by the sounds of the things it’s the right way to go.

“Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman and Crazy Jane. Led by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder they're called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg. Banding together these rejects find themselves on a mission that will take them to the weirdest and most unexpected corners of the DC universe.”
The thing that might kill my Titans-DCU connection is because of this being a Titans spin-off and the addition of Cyborg, which will more than likely be a new actor taking the role unless Ray Fisher joins and that really is unlikely.
The final live action series we’re getting is the James Wan-produced Swamp Thing and as the synopsis confirms we’re getting a horror series. Well, it’s Wan producing and has Gary Dauberman on board as an executive producer and writer and just in case you have no idea who Dauberman is, he has written the screenplay for IT and the upcoming sequel as well as films within the Conjuring universe.

“Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.”

I won’t be surprised if this series does well and hopefully, Matt Ryan’s Constantine gets a new live action series, taking him away from Legends and the Arrowverse, and build towards a Justice League Dark series or exclusive film like Netflix and what Disney will be doing with their streaming service.
Moving away from the live action and getting into the animated world, fans are finally getting a third series of the incredible Young Justice and it will continue (by the looks of things by a few years) where we left in the Invasion story.

“Young Justice: Outsiders features the return of the fan favourite animated series with a huge cast of DC's most iconic young superheroes - plus brand-new characters, many of whom are just discovering their unique meta-powers and special abilities. Set against the backdrop of a rich, deep world that touches all corners of the DC universe, the season focuses on meta–trafficking, and an intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths.”

As always, with the focus on meta-trafficking, we’ll be getting an adult series but aimed at both kids and adults alike.
The final new exclusive series will also be animated with a Harley Quinn series and I think this could benefit Margot Robbie’s Harley in the films.

“Harley Quinn follows Harley’s adventures after she breaks up with the Joker and strikes out on her own in this new adult animated comedy. With the help of Poison Ivy and a ragtag crew of DC castoffs, Harley tries to earn a seat at the biggest table in villainy: the Legion of the Doom.”
This synopsis is the reason why this could benefit Robbie as fans will get the Harley-Ivy relationship and will hopefully we’ll get to see it in live action and I like the idea of her going on missions and adventures to join a group of villains.

Again I’m incredibly excited about what we’re getting and this will be the groundwork for more new series and maybe a return of the original Teen Titans animated series. However, it’s a shame only Titans will be coming out in 2018 with Young Justice expected to do the same but getting pushed back.
So I won’t be surprised if most fans will wait until 2019, yeah we’ll miss out watching Titans fresh but we’re getting more in 2019 then 2018.
