You can watch the trailer below.
As you can guess this is a darker and more faithful telling of Rudyard Kipling’s classic story compared to Disney’s adaptation with similarly incredible effects with an all-star cast including Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis (who's also directing), Freida Pinto, Matthew Rhys and Naomie Harris as well as Rohan Chand as Mowgli.

The next big news is the Netflix has announced the official start of principal photography for Michael Bay’s new movie 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds.
6 Underground has been described as similar to some of the director's past work like Bad Boys and The Rock and the film itself has been stated as a fun, edgy thriller.
Reynolds (Deadpool) will be joined by French actress Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, Kong: Skull Island), Pacific Rim: Uprising’s Adria Arjona, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificent Seven, Murder On The Orient Express), Britain’s own Ben Hardy best known currently playing Roger Taylor in Bohemian Rhapsody.
Lior Raz, Payman Maadi and Dave Franco round off the cast.
The script will be written by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. So if this film is terrible at least it won’t be the script.
Meanwhile, the streaming service announced a number of anime series (via Variety).
