Assassin’s Creed Trailer Drops

Video game movies have had a troubled past, mainly because they’ve all been shit, but 2016 looks like a big year for the genre with Warcraft and now we’ve got the first look at Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender. You can watch the trailer here.

I enjoyed this trailer A LOT despite the music being terrible. The story looks interesting and the action looks brilliant and badass, especially Jenna Malone the snippet of her kicking ass, but I’m most excited seeing Fassbender working with director Justin Kurzel again as they did a brilliant job together on Macbeth.

If you haven’t seen Macbeth I suggest you should because it’s a beautifully shot film and you can already tell Assassin’s Creed will be just as beautiful to watch.

The film will be hitting UK cinemas on December 26th and there’s the synopsis.

“Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.”

Michael B. Jordan Joins Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ & Lupita Nyong’o Could Soon Follow

After watching Captain America: Civil War many fans would have argued “who had the better debut? Black Panther or Spider-Man?” For me personally, it was Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

My excitement for the solo film has been increased with The Hollywood Reporter revealing Michael B. Jordan as joined the film. No one has said who he’ll be playing, but rumour has it he could be the villain.

This will be the third film Jordan would have worked with Ryan Coogler having worked together on “Creed” and “Fruitvale Station”.

Not only has Jordan joined the cast, but THR are also reporting Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is in talks to star in the film opposite Boseman.

This film sounds more and more exciting because with a great director like Coogler and talent such as Boseman, Nyong’o and Jordan, this has the making of being one of the best Marvel films ever.

Jack Black & Kevin Hart Joins Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Jumanji’ Remake

In the world of films getting rebooted/remade, ‘Jumanji’ is next to get an update with Dwayne Johnson already signed on to star.

The Wrap had confirmed Jack Black was in talks to join to film, then a few hours later The Rock took to his Instagram to confirm his casting with the news Kevin Hart is also joining the cast.

I have to admit, I had zero interest in this film, but with the casting of Johnson, Black (who was brilliant in Goosebumps) and Hart this film could be a lot of fun. Plus we’ll get a better look at Johnson's and Hart’s chemistry in Central Intelligence, which is released this summer.

Johnson also took to Instagram to let fans know they’ll honour Robin Williams and his character “Alan Parrish”.

And the #JUMANJI magic begins. Excellent meeting with our director Jake Kasdan, producer Matt Tolmach, and our @SevenBucksProd team to work on our new re-imagining of this amazing story. I felt like in order to craft something cool we should begin where it all started. Award winning writer Chris Van Allsburg's source material of JUMANJI. Chris also wrote THE POLAR EXPRESS (later adapted by Robert Zemeckis and Tom Hanks) and has a very special & magical way of storytelling. I'm feelin' good and confident stepping into these shoes as a producer as well as actor to bring you something great that you and your entire fam can enjoy. An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams. The love and respect I have for this man is boundless. You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of "Alan Parrish" will stand alone and be forever immortalized in the world of JUMANJI in an earnest and cool way. I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud. I also think Robin is somewhere lookin' down and laughing, remembering the first time we met backstage and I (for the first time ever) was a star struck bumbling idiot that couldn't even get my words out. Idiot. He literally calmed me down w/ that smile and laugh. But that's for another fun story down the road. We got a great team assembled already over at our home base of SONY and now we build from here. Here's another fun part... in the original movie there were three big roles. In our new story there's now FIVE. Been so damn cool to see all my actor buddies push their projects aside so hopefully they can come play in our world. Should have cool casting announcements this week. Will keep you posted. #TheMagicBegins #JustPressStart #JUMANJI
