The mother of Dragons is about to meet the best scoundrel’s in a galaxy, far, far away.
That’s right! Emilia Clarke is jumping on the Millennium Falcon starring opposite Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo in the untitled Young Han Solo movie.

The official Star Wars website made the huge announcement on Friday and Lucasfilm are keeping tight-lipped about Clarke’s character, only revealing she’ll be one of “a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.”
One of these characters will include Lando Calrissian played by Community’s Donald Glover.

Star Wars will be the third franchise is Clarke’s career, which includes playing Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones and she also played a younger version of rebel Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys. (Do we still think this film happened?)
We still don’t know what the story is, which is okay as it’s still nearly two years away from release, but Ehrenreich did give some details about the upcoming flick.
“I can say that Chewbacca’s in the film, although I know that’s not a huge spoiler.
“He’s as much younger as I am in the film. So, I think he’s like 190 – or something – years old. I don’t think there’s a huge growth spurt for him from 190 to 210, so he’s probably about the same height.”
Star Wars’ Han Solo movie will be hitting UK screens on 25th May 2018.
