Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam Could Be Introduced In Suicide Squad 2

It sounds like Suicide Squad 2 could be about to introduce a major super-villain that’ll likely have an influence on the DC Universe post-Justice League.

The Wrap has revealed Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will be used in the sequel with the current story idea being “members of the Suicide Squad [are] to be tasked with tracking down a weapon of mass destruction. The weapon? Black Adam himself.”

The Wrap is suggesting Black Adam will be introduced in Suicide Squad 2. However, DC to tease him in the upcoming Shazam movie in a post/mid-credits scene, then we get to know him in the solo movie (that I’d like to be set back in Ancient Egypt) before returning to present day to be a big bad in Suicide Squad 2.

However, I don’t want this to be a world domination story like Man of Steel, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League were because it’s boring trait now. It’s not a DC related thing, Marvel/Fox and the MCU also do it.

I’d to see Suicide Squad 2 main storyline about the post affect Steppenwolf had to the world and have the main villain be Maxwell Lord.

Production is rumoured to start in October 2018, a whole decade since Johnson was revealed as Black Adam, with Gavin O’Connor expecting to write and direct the sequel. This will likely fit in The Rock’s busy schedule with 2018 as he’ll be filming Jungle Cruise at Disney, the Hobbs and Shaw Fast and Furious spin-off with Jason Statham and a potential fifth season of the HBO show Ballers.

The Wrap adding “But Suicide Squad 2 shouldn’t be too much of a scheduling issue, because Black Adam’s part shouldn’t take much time to shoot.”

This would leave me to believe he’d be in the final act of the film.

The People’s Champ did hint we could be seeing Black Adam sooner than later speaking to Fandango back in May saying, “We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can’t reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced.”
