After disappointing at the box office, Warner Bros has announced the release date for the home entertainment of the DC Comics superhero team-up.
The Blu-ray and DVD will be hitting store shelves on March 26 and you’ll be able to get the digital download two weeks before on 12th March.
Despite an online potion and a 13 person protest, we’re not getting a Zack Snyder cut of this film after departing during mid-2017 and replaced by Joss Wheldon. However, we will be getting bonus scenes that weren’t shown in cinemas yet this isn’t an ultimate or extended cut.

It’s this part that confuses me as it looks like these bonus scenes won’t be in the actual film as the runtime is still 2 hours and be apart of the bonus features, which makes them deleted scenes.
To be honest, that annoys me a bit as one of the scenes teased at the end of the trailer (check below) was what plenty of DCU fans wanted to see in the film, especially if they’re involving Superman, like Batman v Superman.

Additionally, I don’t think this will be the only cut of Justice League. This film will become the next Blade Runner and Watchman with different versions of the film as I think within the next 10 years we could see a Joss Wheldon cut and finally a Zack Snyder cut.
As for this Blu-ray itself, I’m still on the fence but maybe jumping over to buy it on the sole bases of these bonus scenes and Warner Bros/DC Entertainment continue their superb run of having awesome bonus features. Like Suicide Squad, for example, say what you like about the film, but those special features are brilliant, the same goes for BvS, Man of Steel and Wonder Woman.
