WWE NXT UK Roster Revealed?

WWE finally aired their two-part United Kingdom Championship Tournament and NXT special and as someone who was at night two, it was a great fucking show.

To see Moustache Mountain win the NXT Tag titles and seeing how much love the UK has for many of these wrestlers it was great to experience, minus Zack Gibson who I’ll always take more shoes off.

Even watching it back, listening to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness commentary added another layer and I truly hope they’ll continue to be the voices of this new NXT UK brand.

At the end of the show, Triple H and NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint walked out to hype the crowd at the Royal Albert Hall and audiences watching at home about the future with that he was joined by the NXT UK roster.

This is a great start to the roster touring four their upcoming tapings in Plymouth, Birmingham, Cambridge and Liverpool and I fully expect a title rematch between Dunne and Gibson in Liverpool or a triple threat with number one contender Dar to which Liverpool’s number one wins to massive pop from the crowd.

Then in the next set of tapings be about Dunne trying to reclaim the belt.

Meanwhile, we have a storyline of the Coffey Bhoys attacking Travis Banks (ruining his chance of winning the UKCT) and the New Zealander could team up with Webster or Andrews or possibly Banks could bring his South Pacific Power Trip partner TK Cooper.

Which means we’d have three tag teams in NXT UK (Coffey’s, Moustache Mountain and SPPT) and if James Drake helped Gibson winning the UK title we then got the fourth team in Grizzled Young Vets.

Meanwhile, I’m sure we’ll see some sort of women’s tournament to determine the UK Women’s Champion, but the roster currently has six wrestlers and think maybe two to four is needed to round out the division.

I think Xia Brookside could be brought in as she’s the current IPW: UK women’s champ and she’s also the daughter of WWE trainer Robbie Brookside. Meanwhile, I’d love to see Bea Priestley but unsure if that’ll happen. Then you have Viper/Piper Niven and Millie McKenzie.

Furthermore, I seriously don’t know how you’re going to find storylines for the other male wrestlers and a midcard title might help. *Cough* European returns *cough*.

Finally, there are question marks over Neville and his contract with WWE and maybe they could work out a deal that he returns to the UK and we won’t have to deal with Vince McMahon or staying in 205 live and become one of the top guys of the NXT UK brand.

P.S. I won’t be surprised if we’ll see that the Takeover at this year’s Survivor Series will be NXT vs NXT UK, which will most likely blow the fucking roof off the Staple Centre in LA.

P.P.S. I hope WWE keep and continue the wrestlers having merch stores at the tapings like it's an indie show.
