What I’m about to say and talk about is a bit fucked up but there is a point. I want to see Ben Affleck be happy and healthy, which is the most important. While the recent images and events have any meaning this will happen, but there is a hope of light for Batman fans.
Meanwhile, it's more likely he'll not return, I believe Affleck’s recent stint and continued rehab is the best hope of DC fans have to see him continue as Batman either in future DC Films or come back for Matt Reeves movie.
I believe this is because of Entertainment Tonight’s recent report stating Affleck is staying in rehab despite finishing his 30-day treatment but will continue to focus on his sobriety.
This is fantastic news because as a fan of the 46-year-old I want to see him be the Oscar contender Affleck that made awesome films but he’s also a dad because if ET report is right then it was worst then we all thought.
“For Ben, this was a life-and-death situation. It was very dire and that is the main reason Jen had no choice but to get involved” said a source to ET.

So imagine seeing your dad like that and this is the main reason why Affleck would stay in the role because of his three kids and Ben will want to be the superhero his kids think he was, especially his son. Since Batman v Superman, Ben has been in rehab twice but before then their dad was Batman and was dressed in his BvS suit for his son’s birthday.
So this will be the only reason why he’d stay as the Dark Knight because of his son, not for the money Warner Bros would throw at him because honestly, I’d love to see him direct the Monopoly scam for Fox.
However, on the bright side, what’s great is Ben is working out and by the looks of things he’s wanting to get back into the shape he was for Batman v Superman because it’ll give him focus and into great shape.
Then if you add what Reeves said about having Jekyll and Hyde as inspiration would no doubt get a major fan like Affleck excited.
Finally, I wouldn’t look too much into the photos of the Argo director going into Warner Bros studio with a wage of paper in hand (it could be a script) or that WB chiefs Toby Emmerich and Kevin Tsujihara visiting him in rehab as they were seeing how their work colleague was recovering.
